I've treasured the value of memories so much longer than I've had a camera in my hands - but as a wedding photographer, there's nothing that brings me more joy than capturing the special moments that will take my couples back to their beginning - year after year. For me, this incredible role is about so much more than capturing pretty details - it's about documenting the in-between - the once in a lifetime moments - and the images that will be treasured by not only you, but your families for generations to come.

I take on an average of 25-30 weddings per year. I typically put a cap on an individual season, rather than the year as a whole since Fall and Spring are the busiest season for weddings in Charleston. The typical RSP couple books me between 9 - 18 months
before their wedding date.

Because I believe that engagement sessions are SO important (see above!) I gift each of my couples an engagement session with each wedding package. This is a complimentary gift and has no monetary value attached to it, so substitutions cannot be made if you do not take advantage of the session.

04. WHEN DO WE GET TO SEE OUR WEDDING AND ENGAGEMENT PHOTOS?
Engagement Galleries are typically delivered within 2-3 weeks. Wedding galleries are a bit longer at 4-6 weeks. But don't worry! I'm just as excited to share your photographs as you are to see them and will always send sneak peeks as quickly as possible for you to share, post on social media, and change that cell phone background!

Second photographer?
I work with a small group of second photographers throughout a wedding season. Each of these women are incredible professionals who have their own business and share my style, photography education and passion for the craft. I usually assign a second to your wedding day 3-4 months in advance.

After photographing over 130 weddings in the lifetime of my career - some things just come naturally! Beyond the timeline for the day - I'm always on the lookout for the organic moments that happen when no one else may be watching. And when it comes to family portraits - we'll work together ahead of the wedding day to create a detailed and organized list to make sure that everything is captured - while keeping it efficient - so you can enjoy the party!

photography?
YES! I am so excited to be offering Drone photography coverage in 2024! Because of the unique nature of Drone Photography, please keep in mind that this coverage is very weather, location and time dependent. If this is a big priority for you, let's chat about what this looks like in advance to make a plan for how to best incorporate it into your wedding day timeline.
